River Cree Learn to Skate

Pre-School Learn to Skate – Ages 3-5

This Program is designed for children that don’t have much skating experience or may be on their skates for the first time. The focus of the instruction will be on balance and coordination and the introduction to such skills such as stopping, pushing and gliding.

*Older children without any skating experience may be permitted in this class depending on availability.

Our Standard Learn to Skate program is designed for youths between the ages of 6 and 14 who have basic skating skills. Drills and activities performed in this class are more advanced than the Pre-School class. The focus of this class is to structure a fun and safe learning environment where skaters will learn the fundamentals of skating for fun or to prepare for hockey, figure skating or Ringette.
